In Friday's non-league match, the host Globe Tigers softball team scored a nice 18-5 win over the Deer Valley Skyhawks.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Payson (Payson, AZ). The Longhorns come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Payson notched a victory over Highland Prep (Surprise, AZ), 25-4, in a non-league match.
