In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Jones County Coyotes basketball team scored a good 75-55 triumph over the New Underwood Tigers.

In their next game, the Coyotes meet the White River Tigers (White River, SD) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 1. Jones County will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 16-2 record after their 66-56 league win over Lyman (Presho, SD).

With the defeat, New Underwood moves to 7-14 on the year.
