South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC), 9-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Falcons host New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-0. New Hanover won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC)

With the defeat, West Carteret falls to 0-1 on the season. The Patriots host East Carteret (Beaufort, NC) to battle the Mariners in a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 0-2. East Carteret lost 19-4 in their recent non-league test against Havelock (Havelock, NC)
