The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Watauga Pioneers to 52 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.

Next, the Cougars clash with the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 2. Alexander Central will attempt to upgrade on its 24-3 season record. The Rockets come into the test with a 21-6 record after their 60-48 non-league win over Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC).
