The East Wake Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and held the host West Johnston Wildcats to 48 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fike for a 3A Conference 21 contest on Friday, February 4. East Wake will meet a Demons team coming off a 66-64 league loss to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Demons record now stands at 4-10.

The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their bout against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons come into the 3A Conference 21 bout with a 15-2 record. In their last bout, C.B. Aycock toppled Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC), 70-55, in a league bout.
