North Carolina High School Basketball - E.E. Smith crushes Western Harnett

February 3, 2023: Lillington, NC 27546

E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), 57-17 in a league bout.

With the win, E.E. Smith upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Golden Bulls host Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A/4A Conference 23 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Terry Sanford won 75-27 in their recent league bout against Westover (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 23 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Western Harnett will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 56-40 non-league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).
