February 3, 2024: Amanda, OH 43102 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Liberty Union Lions (Baltimore, OH) and the host Amanda-Clearcreek Aces (Amanda, OH), saw Liberty Union's basketball squad knock off Amanda-Clearcreek by a tally of 61-42.
With the victory, Liberty Union improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Lions host Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Grove City Christian won 81-59 in their recent league challenge against Miller (Corning, OH)
Next up, the Aces play the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs (Carroll, OH) in a Mid-State - Buckeye challenge, on Friday, February 9. Amanda-Clearcreek will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 69-37 non-league loss to Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH).
