Nevada High School Basketball - Reed thwarts Galena

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) and the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), observed Reed's basketball team knock off Galena by a score of 62-47.

The Raiders (20-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars come into the 4A Northern challenge with a 18-5 record. In their last challenge, Spanish Springs prevailed over McQueen (Reno, NV), 62-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies encounter the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Friday, February 7. Galena will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 54-47 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
