The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) and the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), observed Overhills's basketball team overwhelm Harnett Central by a score of 72-16.

The Jaguars (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Triton (Erwin, NC). The Hawks come into the 3A/4A All-American challenge with a 7-15 record. In their last challenge, Triton was routed by Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 88-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A All-American challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Harnett Central will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Golden Bulls come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 50-33 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
