In Wednesday's non-league test, the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) basketball squad got by the visiting Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ), by a score of 65-59.

Coming up next, the Chargers play the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro bout, on Tuesday, February 10. McClintock will attempt to move on its 20-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 56-35 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ).

With the loss, Desert Vista falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to play the Aztecs in a 6A Central bout on Tuesday, February 10.
