The Farmville Central Jaguars basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Nash Central Bulldogs to 33 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Johnston for a Eastern Plains 2A contest on Tuesday, February 9. Farmville Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 40-37 league loss to Beddingfield (Wilson, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Cougars enter the Eastern Plains 2A contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, SouthWest Edgecombe was routed by North Pitt (Bethel, NC), 75-29, in a league contest.
