Connecticut High School Basketball - New Britain holds off Bristol Central
February 5, 2022: New Britain, CT 06051 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) and the visiting Bristol Central Rams (Bristol, CT), saw New Britain's basketball squad hold off Bristol Central by a tally of 36-31.
With the victory, New Britain improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Golden Hurricanes travel to Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Wethersfield lost 46-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Windsor (Windsor, CT)
Next up, the Rams confront the Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge, on Monday, February 7. Bristol Central will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
