North Carolina High School Basketball - New Garden Friends knocks off South Guilford HomeSchool
The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New Garden Friends Bears (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars (Greensboro, NC), observed New Garden Friends's basketball team overcome South Guilford HomeSchool by a score of 52-35.
The Bears (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Carolina Friends (Durham, NC). The Quakers enter the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Carolina Friends lost by The Burlington School (Burlington, NC), 93-53, in a league battle.
The Cougars now own a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Christopher Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, February 6.
