New York High School Basketball - Gananda Central edges South Seneca
February 6, 2023: Walworth, NY 14568 The Gananda Central Blue Panthers (Walworth, NY) basketball nipped the visiting South Seneca Falcons (Ovid, NY), 65-61 in Monday's non-league test.
The Blue Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Clyde-Savannah (Clyde, NY). The Golden Eagles go into the Section 5 Wayne County test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Clyde-Savannah was tipped by East Rochester (East Rochester, NY), 57-24, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomfield for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - West test on Wednesday, February 8. South Seneca will encounter a Bombers squad coming off a 71-61 league win over Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY). The Bombers record now stands at 7-9.
