Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA), 62-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Starr's Mill upgrades its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Friday, February 9. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 16-8. Whitewater won 67-66 in their recent league bout against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, February 9. North Clayton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 16-7 record after their 89-61 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA).
