The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX) and the host Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX), observed Port Aransas's basketball team knock off Refugio by a score of 44-25.

The Marlins (26-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Bobcats come into the 2A Region IV District 31 battle with a 25-8 record. In their last battle, Skidmore-Tynan was outscored by Yorktown (Yorktown, TX), 38-37, in a league battle.
