The McDonough Rams basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Northern Patriots to 46 in the Rams league victory on Monday.

The Rams now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lackey for a Southern Maryland contest on Wednesday, February 9. McDonough will battle a Chargers team coming off a 52-51 league win over La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Chargers record now stands at 3-8.

The Patriots (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines come into the Southern Maryland contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Westlake edged North Point (Waldorf, MD), 69-54, in a league contest.
