Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) and the host Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV), saw Cheyenne's basketball squad wallop Sierra Vista by a count of 73-50.

With the victory, Cheyenne upgrades its record to 10-14 on the campaign. The Desert Shields host Rancho (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Rams in a 4A Desert challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. Rancho won 60-50 in their recent league challenge against Spring Valley (Las Vegas, NV)
