February 7, 2023: Los Lunas, NM 87031 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) and the visiting Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), saw Los Lunas's basketball squad overcome Santa Fe by a tally of 48-35.
With the victory, Los Lunas improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a 5A District 5 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Capital lost 47-39 in their recent league challenge against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Demons confront the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Santa Fe will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 57-47 league loss to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM).
