Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Exeter-West Greenwich upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Scarlet Knights host North Providence (North Providence, RI) to play the Cougars in a Division 3 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-9. North Providence won 57-35 in their recent league bout against Central (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Mariners play the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Monday, February 13. Narragansett will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Islanders go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 56-42 league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI).
