February 7, 2023: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) and the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), saw Pequannock's basketball squad overcome Hanover Park by a tally of 40-28.
With the victory, Pequannock improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Golden Panthers travel to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ) to confront the Crusaders in a North Jersey - Liberty challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 19-3. Morris Catholic won 89-34 in their recent league challenge against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Hanover Park will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Dodgers come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 71-28 non-league win over Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ).
