East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), 48-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, East Burke upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Rebels play the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. West Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 49-22 non-league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
