Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Weatherly (Weatherly, PA), 36-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Tri-Valley upgrades its record to 2-19 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA) to play the Green Wave in a Schuylkill County 3 bout on Thursday, February 8. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Nativity BVM lost 53-46 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Calvary Christian (Elizabethtown, PA)

Next up, the play the MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Weatherly will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 55-30 non-league loss to Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA).
