The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) and the visiting Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions (Manassas, VA), observed Saint John Paul the Great Catholic's basketball team overcome Northern Virginia HomeSchool by a margin of 57-41.

The Wolves (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA). The Gators come into the LIS challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, Saint Gertrude defeated Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA), 60-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Centurions battle the Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks (Richmond, VA) in a VHSAA challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Northern Virginia HomeSchool will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a 16-11 record after their 46-22 non-league win over Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA).
