The Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) basketball were winner over the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 73-63 in Saturday's league bout.

The Tigers now hold a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Claxton for a A D2 Region 3 test on Tuesday, February 10. Metter will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 59-45 non-league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-17.
