South Dakota High School Basketball - Groton trounces Chamberlain
February 8, 2020: Groton, SD 57445 The Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD), 66-39 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Warner walloped Redfield (Redfield, SD), 48-32, in a non-league test.
The Cubs now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Crow Creek for a A Region 6 test on Tuesday, February 11. Chamberlain will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 63-60 non-league win over Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Chieftains record now stands at 13-1.
