In Monday's league outing, the Hanna Golden Eagles (Brownsville, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX), by a count of 37-34.

The Golden Eagles (11-14) will now prepare for their outing against San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 6A Region IV District 32 outing with a 4-20 record. In their last challenge, San Benito was edged by Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX), 59-39, in a league challenge.
