February 8, 2021: Los Fresnos, TX 78566 In Monday's league outing, the Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX), by a margin of 59-39.
The Falcons (21-4) will now prepare for their match against Donna North (Donna, TX). The Chiefs enter the 6A Region IV District 32 match with a 1-14 record. In their last match, Donna North lost by Weslaco (Weslaco, TX), 72-45, in a league match.
With the defeat, San Benito moves to 4-20 on the year. The Greyhounds host Hanna (Brownsville, TX) to meet the Golden Eagles in a 6A Region IV District 32 match on Friday, February 12. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 11-14. Hanna won 37-34 in their recent league match against Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX)
