New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Michael's overwhelms Santa Fe Prep
February 8, 2022: Santa Fe, NM 87505 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) and the host Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM), saw St. Michael's's basketball squad wallop Santa Fe Prep by a count of 61-35.
With the victory, St. Michael's upgrades its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Horsemen travel to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Cardinals in a 3A District 2 challenge on Friday, February 11. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Robertson won 73-53 in their recent league challenge against Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM)
Next up, the Blue Griffins play the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Saturday, February 12. Santa Fe Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 61-52 league loss to Raton (Raton, NM).
