February 8, 2022: Anchorage, AK 99508 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) and the host Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK), saw Dimond's basketball squad knock off Bettye Davis East Anchorage by a tally of 53-34.
With the victory, Dimond improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Lynx host Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Friday, February 11. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Chugiak lost 50-17 in their recent league challenge against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 57-28 league win over Nikiski (Nikiski, AK).
