Georgia High School Soccer - New Hampstead knocks off Woodville-Tompkins
February 8, 2022: Savannah, GA 31419 New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Phoenix confront the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 11. New Hampstead will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA).
The Wolverines now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Swainsboro for a AA Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 15. Woodville-Tompkins will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Portal (Portal, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
