Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Lewis-Palmer can't get by Colorado Academy
February 8, 2022: Denver, CO 80235 Colorado Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) fans left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO), 2-1 in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO). The Hornets enter the non-league match with a 0-14 record. In their last match, Pueblo County was nipped by Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO), 7-1, in a league match.
Next up, the Rangers clash with the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 5A South match, on Friday, February 11. Lewis-Palmer will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 6-9 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Monarch (Louisville, CO).
