March 1, 2022: Suwanee, GA 30024 The Peachtree Ridge Lions soccer team scored 1 points and limited the visiting Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Lions face the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, March 8. Peachtree Ridge will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 5-0 league loss to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA).
The Spartans now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Westminster for a AAA Region 5 contest on Thursday, March 3. Greater Atlanta Christian will face a Wildcats team coming off a 13-0 league win over Salem (Conyers, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
