California High School Softball - Vista Murrieta bounces Santiago
March 1, 2022: Murrieta, CA 92563 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) and the visiting Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), saw Vista Murrieta's softball squad achieve victory over Santiago by a count of 11-1.
The Broncos now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a Southwestern match on Thursday, March 3. Vista Murrieta will face a Pumas squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Santiago falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Sharks host Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA) to face the Blackhawks in a non-league match on Saturday, March 5. The Blackhawks enter the match with a record of 1-7.
