Kelly Walsh Trojans (Casper, WY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Star Valley Braves (Afton, WY), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kelly Walsh upgrades its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY) to play the Bolts in a non-league bout on Friday, March 11. The Bolts come into the bout with a record of 22-3. Thunder Basin won 66-28 in their recent non-league bout against Natrona County (Casper, WY)

Next up, the Braves play the Natrona County Mustangs (Casper, WY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 11. Star Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 12-16 record after their 66-28 non-league loss to Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY).
