The Amherst Broncos topped the host Tri County Trojans basketball team by a final score of 36-19 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Broncos face the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 11. Amherst will attempt to move on its 26-1 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 28-1 record after their 63-45 non-league win over Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE).

With the defeat, Tri County moves to 24-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, March 11. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 21-5. Cedar Catholic lost 63-45 in their recent non-league game against Freeman (Adams, NE)
