Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mt. Edgecumbe Braves (Sitka, AK), 57-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sitka upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season.

Next up, the Braves play the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 11. Mt. Edgecumbe will attempt to upgrade on its 20-5 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 7-19 record after their 60-36 league win over Redington (Wasilla, AK).
