St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS), 5-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, St. Patrick improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Fighting Irish travel to Picayune (Picayune, MS) to play the Maroon Tide in a non-league game on Friday, March 20. The Maroon Tide enter the game with a record of 2-9.

The Trojans now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Tylertown for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 10. West Marion will play a Chiefs squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Amite County (Liberty, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-2.
