Florida High School Lacrosse - University drops to Lake Nona
March 11, 2021: Orlando, FL 32817 Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host University Cougars (Orlando, FL), 14-0 in a non-league battle.
The Lions now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hagerty for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 23. Lake Nona will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Oviedo (Oviedo, FL). The Huskies record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, University drops to 0-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to East River (Orlando, FL) to play the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 23. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 2-4. East River lost 12-4 in their recent non-league match against Winter Springs (Winter Springs, FL)
