In Friday's league game, the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) football team knocked off the visiting West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC), by a score of 48-24.

The Stallions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes come into the Three Rivers 1A/2A game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Fairmont was knocked off by East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 56-12, in a league game.

The Knights now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Columbus for a Three Rivers 1A/2A game on Friday, March 19. West Bladen will battle a Vikings team coming off a 36-0 league loss to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
