In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting West Carteret Patriots lacrosse squad scored a good 20-6 victory over the Jack Britt Buccaneers.

With the victory, West Carteret improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Patriots host Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Monday, March 16. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 4-0. Jacksonville won 14-6 in their recent league game against Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC)

The Buccaneers now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Brunswick for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 18. Jack Britt will play a Trojans team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.
