March 14, 2025: Cyril, OK 73029 The Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) baseball trounced the host Cyril Pirates (Cyril, OK), 10-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Comets now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Minco for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. Velma-Alma will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, Cyril drops to 0-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18.
