Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 14-4 in a league match.

With the triumph, Eastern Guilford advances its record to 2-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to battle the Cougars in a Mid-State 3A match on Tuesday, March 18. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 6-1. Rockingham County won 16-0 in their recent league match against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)

The Bison now have a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast Guilford for a Mid-State 3A match on Tuesday, March 18. High Point Central will battle a Rams squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-7.
