SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC), 16-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, SouthWest Edgecombe moves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC) to confront the Rams in a Eastern Plains 2A match on Tuesday, March 18. The Rams come into the match with a record of 4-2. Greene Central won 16-6 in their recent league match against North Pitt (Bethel, NC)
