In Friday's league game, the host Southeast Alamance Stallions baseball team scored a close 9-3 win over the North Moore Mustangs.

The Stallions (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Eastern Alamance was overwhelmed by Southern Alamance (Graham, NC), 6-0, in a league game.

Next, the Mustangs play the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, March 18. North Moore will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Jets go into the game with a 0-7 record after their 15-0 league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
