The North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 19-9 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Rocky River CMS Athletics (Mint Hill, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 16. North Mecklenburg will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The CMS Athletics enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC).

The Comets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont Community Charter for a Metro Eight 1A contest on Tuesday, March 21.
