The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) and the visiting Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA), saw Grant's baseball team gain a win over Anacoco by a tally of 3-1.

The Cougars (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Wossman (Monroe, LA). The Wildcats enter the 4A District 2 contest with a 0-6 record.

The Indians now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosepine for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 17. Anacoco will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-6.
