The Hanson Memorial Tigers softball squad (Franklin, LA), was routed 11-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA)

With the triumph, Lafayette improves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) to face the Rams in a 5A District 3 bout on Tuesday, March 17. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Acadiana lost 9-8 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 17. Hanson Memorial will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 13-12 non-league win over Port Barre (Port Barre, LA).
