In Wednesday's league bout, the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA), by a count of 13-0.

The Aztecs now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yucaipa for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 21. Palm Desert will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to San Dimas (San Dimas, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-4.
