In Saturday's non-league contest, the East Leopards (Salt Lake City, UT) softball team overwhelmed the host Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV), by a margin of 8-2.

With the triumph, East moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Leopards travel to Granger (West Valley City, UT) to play the Lancers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 23. The Lancers come into the contest with a record of 1-8. Granger lost 20-0 in their recent league contest against Cyprus (Magna, UT)
